Germany

MSF worked in Germany in 2017 to introduce a system of peer counselling for asylum seekers as part of a pilot project handed over to St Josef hospital in Schweinfurt, Bavaria.
 
The MSF teams worked through Sunday night and during the whole of Monday until the last train departed. Despite the difficult circumstances, the teams managed to assist about 500 refugees.

In 2015, MSF ran a mobile clinic in the border town of Röszke, where 2,000 to 4,000 migrants and refugees crossed from Serbia each day.
