After some haggling and persuasion, arguments and singing by Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) activists at the Department of Trade and Industry yesterday officials gave in, crossing a parking lot, to receive a memo on a stage set up some way from the building... The activists had marched to the department yesterday morning, in protest against the delayed implementation of patent laws, which they say would decrease the price of essential drugs, increasing accessibility to such medicines... The TAC campaign is supported by Doctors Without Borders and Section 27.
