More than 30 000 displaced families are sheltered in precarious conditions in different locations in Bossangoa — in the Catholic mission, schools and airstrip — and in Bouca — also in the Catholic mission and around the mosque in the Central African Republic... The majority of towns in Bossangoa are completely deserted because of the violence which has been going on since the coup d'etat in March... Attackers burnt down at least 700 houses in Bouca... Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is worried about the displaced masses living in the bush without access to healthcare... The Sowetan has presented the CAR crisis in the form of a photo feature.
