MEDIA CLUB SOUTH AFRICA: Doctors Without Borders asks if you can make the #ToughDecisions

South Africans working with Doctors Without Borders  (MSF) often make life-altering decisions every day as they do their medical work... A decision can be on who gets to be treated first when a number of patients walk into the hospital at the same time requiring urgent medical attention... Among them could be a child covered in blood or the woman stumbling around, clutching her chest with no visible wounds to treat, so a decision has to be made on who gets treatment first... Some MSF field workers are working in impermanent, understaffed and under-equipped hospitals in different parts of the world, hence are faced with lots of tough decisions to make because of those circumstances... The aid group’s latest awareness campaign to publicise its life-saving work will put Twitter users in their shoes and asks if they could make those #ToughDecisions.
