The extreme working conditions for doctors in Syria

The testimony of Dr Tareq [name has being changed] is part of a documentation project run by MSF on medical assistance in Syria, since 2011 until today and across all Syria’s governorates. All testimonies has been audio recorded but most of the interviewees prefers to remain anonymous. That’s why we’ve decided to create this short animated documentary.

This documentation study aims to document and understand the impact of the Syrian conflict on the provision of health care throughout the conflict and across the country, in terms of operational challenges, coping mechanisms, consequences on health care and on health workers, with a strong focus on the latter (both at professional and personal level).
