Magaria: Malaria and Malnutrition on the rise

For more than one month, MSF teams have been tackling an unprecedented malaria peak in a hospital that covers a region of one million people. The MSF 200-bed intensive care unit is full, making it the world’s biggest paediatric intensive care unit in the world. The majority of these patients are suffering from complications of severe malaria or malnutrition, and an average of 10 children have died every day for the past month.
