Migration is not a crime" MSF President Speaks at Global Compact for Migration Conference

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) International President Dr Joanne Liu delivered a speech at the Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration in Marrakesh, Morocco, on December 11, 2018. Dr Liu spoke about how inhumane government policies intended to curb migration are having a devastating impact on the lives of people seeking safety. Regardless of why people leave their place of origin, they need protection from violence and exploitation.
