Our teams have been forced to suspended medical support in Macomia, Mozambique following a recent attack on the village that also resulted in the destruction of our healthcare centre.
Yemen: Going the distance to access free healthcare
It's not just hard, but also too far for many Yemenis to access free healthcare. Most Yemenis travel long hours to access healthcare as there are limited facilities within the communities. Doctors Without Borders (MSF) provides life-saving medical care to people based only on need – irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. On the frontlines, our fieldworkers are courageous and committed doctors, nurses and other medical professionals. They focus on adapting care to the needs of people facing crises.
