Internally displaced family travelling to a nearby village Democratic Republic of Congo on September 23, 2013 — Christophe (green singlet) travels with family to a nearby village on the road outside the village of Monga, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo on September 23, 2013. Christophe is a school teacher but due to the fragile security situation classes in many areas are suspended, as is his salary which was paid by the parents of students. Many parents will not let their children of of sight fearing conflicts between Mai Mai militia and government forces. Christophe is working as a farmer instead to make a living.
