Interview with Michel Perelmanz, MSF head of mission in Roraima. The northern state of Roraima has been the main gateway in Brazil for the arrival of thousands of Venezuelan migrants and asylum seekers. The already poor health system of the state’s capital, Boa Vista, is overwhelmed with these new arrivals. Our teams in Roraima work in shelters and with people living on the street or in precarious buildings. We provide medical consultations, access to water and sanitation, mental healthcare and health promotion activities
