I came here with my neighbours. We suffered a lot on the way here. It took a month and a day to cross the border. We didn’t come for the food. We came because the Buddhists were killing and setting on fire our parents and brothers. Our young sisters were taken and raped. When our men went out into the forest, they are abducted. We’ve endured constant oppression for so long. We came to this country to seek justice and the freedom to practice our religion. - Hasina, widow and mother of five at Camp 18 in Bangladesh.
