CAPE ARGUS: Mural unveiled to remember Aids Day

Khayelitsha hall transformed to show HIV is not a death sentence DOCTORS Without Borders (MSF) unveils a five storey high mural at the OR Tambo community hall in Khayelitsha in remembrance of World Aids Day… "With this five-storey high mural, our HIV positive patients and activists really wanted to broadcast the message that HIV is no longer a death sentence: The stigma attached to anti-retroviral treatment and the prejudice against people living with HIV/Aids need to be broken.’’ Said MSF SA’s Ryan Fortune… Khayelitsha hip hop artist and producer P'zho was also part of the mural consultation and, inspired by meeting HIV activist and he, composed and produced a track for World Aids Day called #LifeBeyondHIV.
