Doctors Without Borders team tours Kwa-Zulu Natal raising awareness on humanitarian action, search and rescue work in the Mediterranean Sea... The MSF fundraising tour will run from 20 October to 28 November, and is aimed at raising awareness of the medical work MSF provides during crises throughout the world, while explaining to KZN residents how MSF’s work relies on the support of individual donors to keep providing independent medical care... Since May this year, three boats have rescued more than 16, 350 people. In response to needs of people fleeing conflicts in Syria and Afghanistan - MSF teams have also assisted a further 1, 166 others with safe passage to Italy. Read more HERE
