MSF response in Hodeidah, Yemen

Since 1st of November , a stronger offensive was launched in Hodeidah with a deployment of Saudi and Emirati led coalition (SELC)-backed forces on the ground. Ground fighting and aerial bombardments are ongoing. Movements of population have been reported last week end, but it’s still difficult to assess how many already left the city. Civilians are also reportedly trapped inside the city, due to fighting. Since October, MSF works at Al Salakhana hospital, in Hodeidah, located north of the city, to provide emergency surgical care to the population.
