Saving Lives at Sea

After resuming its search and rescue activities in the Central Mediterranean MSF reinforced its capacity at sea. The Bourbon Argos sailed from Cyprus on April, 30th. On May 6 Bourbon Argos rescued 121 people (among whom 28 women and 6 children. After the rescue, the people have been transferred to the Italian Guardia Costiera boat at they landed in Lampedusa few hours later.
