Yemen: More than 1,600 migrants released from smugglers, some of them victims of torture

Sana’a  – Yemeni authorities freed 1620 migrants held by smugglers on farms – some of them for months – in Haradh region (north of the country) since 7 April.  MSF assisted these migrants – including 62 children and 142 women and treatment of  71 severely ill people at the MSF-run hospital in Al-Mazraq village, close to Haradh town.
