In 2018 Doctors Without Borders (MSF) teams provided medical and humanitarian assistance to people facing extreme hardship in over 70 countries.
The emergency response continued to be a core part of our work in 2018: from treating war-wounded ever closer to frontlines in Yemen; responding to epidemic outbreaks such as Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo and cholera in Niger; providing assistance to people fleeing violence in the Central African Republic and Central America; treating visible and invisible wounds around the world and making every effort to improve patient care wherever we work.
Our teams conducted medical activities in 74 countries in 2018.
